Action Plan

  • Outreach

Covid Safe Safe Schools was formed in late October 2021, through the need to collectively fight for safe conditions in schools for students and staff. Weekly online meetings sees members gather from across Australia to continue their advocacy work for all members of our communities.

  • Media

Many of our highly qualified and experienced members are actively researching and publishing articles and information through mainstream commercial print and television media outlets and social media platforms on a regular basis. Our message clearly resounds with many concerned Australians.

  • Petitions

We have successfully presented petitions to both the NSW Government and the Federal Government advocating for an appropriate response that ensures the highest levels of safety in all educational facilities. We also have various online petitions calling for your support.

  • NSW Ombudsman Complaint

A letter of complaint has been submitted to the NSW Ombudsman calling for an investigation into the NSW Department of Education’s COVID-19 response. This has been received and is pending investigation (as of Jan 2022)

  • NSW Depart. of Ed. Letter of Demand

A letter of demand for an urgent meeting has been sent to the NSW Department of Education Minister for Education requesting urgent action to address serious safety concerns faced by staff and students on return to school in Feb 2022

  • Fundraising Campaign

Fighting for what’s right is never easy. Anticipating ongoing administration and legal costs, Covid Safe Schools Inc. has launched a crowdfunding campaign to ensure we can continue to provide pressure to raise safety standards throughout all NSW schools.

Start a letter-writing campaign, attend an event, sign a petition, join in the discussion on facebook & twitter, or become a member of the Covid Safe Schools association.
